Our mission

We believe that tracking what you eat should take seconds, not minutes. Most people quit calorie counting within a week because existing apps ask them to search databases, weigh every ingredient, and type everything manually. Calzy replaces all of that with a single photo. Our AI identifies every food on your plate, estimates portions, and calculates calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, and sugar — in under three seconds.

But calories alone don't tell the full story. Two meals can have the same 500 kcal and completely different effects on your body. That's why Calzy scores every meal from 0 to 100 (grades A through E) based on real nutritional value — protein source, fiber, sugar, food additives, and processing level. We're the only calorie tracker that flags 100+ concerning additives like E250 (nitrites), E171 (titanium dioxide, banned in the EU since 2022), and E951 (aspartame), and classifies every meal by processing level using the NOVA framework.
