Delete Your Account

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

• Your profile information (name, email, birthday, height, weight goals)
• All food entries and meal logs
• Weight history and measurements
• Progress photos
• Saved foods and recipes
• Daily logs and streak data
• All synced data from our cloud servers

Important: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you want to delete all your data before proceeding.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)

The easiest way to delete your account is directly from the Calzy app:

1. Open Calzy on your iPhone or iPad
2. Go to Settings by tapping the gear icon in the top-right corner of the Home tab
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page
4. Tap "Delete Account" (shown in red)
5. Confirm deletion when prompted

Your account and all data will be deleted immediately from our servers.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you can't access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, you can contact us:

We will process email deletion requests within 30 days and confirm once your account has been deleted.

What About My Subscription?

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you have an active Calzy Pro subscription, you need to cancel it separately through Apple:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad
2. Tap your Apple ID at the top
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Find Calzy and tap it
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

We recommend canceling your subscription before deleting your account to avoid any future charges.

Data Retention

After you delete your account:

• Your data is removed from our active databases immediately
• Backup copies may take up to 30 days to be fully purged
• We do not retain any personal data after this period
• Anonymous, aggregated statistics (not linked to you) may be retained

Local Data

Deleting your account removes data from our servers. To also remove data stored locally on your device:

1. Delete the Calzy app from your device
2. This will remove all locally cached data, photos, and preferences
